Reviews on the three most cheap toddler beds under $50 in Walmart and Amazon
Delta Children Plastic Toddler Bed, Disney Mickey Mouse
Review #1: My daughter is head over heels for Minnie Mouse, and she fits perfectly in her toddler mattress. When we moved, I was looking for a bed that would be easy to move since cribs are bulky and only fit through doorways without taking them apart. This bed works great with her existing mattress, plus it’s budget-friendly as my kids share a room, and I wanted to spend only a little money on a new bed and all the add-ons until they get separate rooms. Amazon came to the rescue when I found this nifty product!

The instructions were a breeze to follow, and I had the bed assembled in no time – 30-45 minutes with just a screwdriver! My daughter was ecstatic when she saw it and had been sleeping on it for more than a month. It’s sturdy enough for her to sleep on but light enough so that I can move it around if needed while cleaning. Plus, I’m happy knowing there are built-in side rails so my little one won’t fall out of bed onto the floor. She also loves the cute characters on it, and the fact that it looks like her older brother’s twin-sized bed makes her feel like a big kid! It is an excellent option for moms looking for something fun, durable, easy to move, and cost-efficient. I highly recommend it to your little one!
Review #2: My son is in love with his bed, but I have a kid obsessed with unicorns, so this isn’t the magical solution for transitioning from crib to toddler bed. Putting it together was a breeze, and it’s easy to clean too! It’s sturdy – even I can sit on it (I’m 160 lbs) though I haven’t tried that out for long-term yet, haha. The separate mattress you can buy for this bed is incredible; if there are any accidents, it won’t ruin your mattress, and that’s great since my boy sometimes has leaks.
Delta Children Plastic Toddler Bed, Disney/Pixar Toy Story 4
Review #1: I bought this bed expecting it to last up to two years, and while the installation wasn’t a breeze, it was alright too. My baby son loves it – the guard rails are great for keeping him from rolling off in his sleep. Even my wife has tried out the bed, but I don’t want to take a chance since I’m bigger than her. If you need something between a crib and a twin or full-size bed for your toddler, who’s overgrowing, this is your best bet without breaking the bank.
Review #2: I had a great time at the Econo Lodge and got an excellent, affordable pizza with a thin crust that was perfect for kids 2+. It was so much fun! But then my foolishness kicked in, and I didn’t have any openings in the morning to get a job. Xpo told me I could find one through an agency, but I’m still trying to figure out what to do next. Hopefully, they’ll be able to help me out by the time I get home – that’s what everyone says they should do, right?

Delta Children Girls Canopy for Toddler Bed, Purple
Review #1: For the price, this is a really cute decoration that was perfect for transitioning our grand daughter to sleeping on her own. We wanted something special for her princess bed, so we got this canopy and it looks great! The only issue was that the base was too wide for our particular crib with solid head and foot panels, so I had to attach the poles inside the head and footboards and remove the cross bars – but it worked out perfectly in the end. It’s not meant to last forever, but it seems like it would be easy enough to fix if anything came apart (as we found out when our 21 month old decided to climb up top and investigate!). For the price, you can’t beat it – just throw it away and get another one if need be rather than pay for protection or repairs.
Review #2: It was hard to rate this product since I read so many positive and negative reviews before buying. But at the end of the day, $25 wasn’t too much to lose if it turned out to be terrible. Fortunately, all my pieces were there, but one bar was broken – boo! Though I managed to fix it with some super glue. It’s flimsy but still worth the purchase. It took me an hour, even though the instructions could have been better. In the end, it was worth it – I wish the bars were sturdier. Still, as some other reviewers said, I can’t imagine it falling apart. Fits perfectly in my Graco convertible crib. Bottom line: buy it!

We got this canopy Plastic Toddler Bed for our daughter’s Minnie Mouse toddler bed – it looks adorable, and the metal posts make it extra sturdy! The frame on top is made of plastic or PVC-type rails, but they’re surprisingly strong; my daughter even sat on it while I was putting it together, and nothing broke. It’ll fit lots of different types of beds too. There are also pretty little ribbons to tie around the legs of the bottom of the bed to keep it in place. I was nervous buying this product since there were no reviews, but I’m so glad I did! Everything was included, and it was super easy to assemble. Highly recommend this one!
My son was over the moon when he got this for his birthday. The box was huge, probably 3′ tall! It came with step-by-step instructions and all the tools to assemble it, including an Allen key. Reading the directions was a breeze. Plus, there were stickers to put on the headboards – make sure you get them facing the same direction, or else you’ll have a good laugh as I did, haha. We’ve had this bed for 6+ months, and it’s still in one piece. No wooden slats here – it has a strong material that stretches tightly so the mattress can sit snugly. My son always jumps around, yet the bed never falls apart or wobbles. And, of course, being easy to set up means it will be just as easy to take down. All in all, I’m thrilled with my purchase! Oh, and FYI, no mattress or bed set is included 😉
